Terms of Service

Acceptance

By creating an account or using TimeKnot, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

What TimeKnot is

TimeKnot is a time-tracking and task management application. It connects with Notion and Clockify to let you track time against your tasks. You can also create native workspaces with tasks and projects managed entirely inside TimeKnot.

Your account

• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
• You must provide accurate information when creating your account.
• One person per account. You may not share your account with others or create accounts on behalf of others without their consent.
• You must be at least 16 years old to use TimeKnot.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use TimeKnot for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the service in ways that degrade performance for other users.
• Upload content that is harmful, offensive, or violates third-party rights.
• Use the embed widget or API access to build competing products without our written permission.

Your data

You own your data. TimeKnot does not claim ownership over your timer sessions, tasks, or workspace content. We process it solely to provide the service. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

Third-party integrations

When you connect Notion or Clockify, you are also subject to their respective terms of service. TimeKnot is not responsible for changes to those platforms' APIs, data availability, or service interruptions originating from those providers.

Service availability

We aim to keep TimeKnot available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance, apply updates, or temporarily suspend the service without notice. We are not liable for any loss resulting from downtime.

Limitation of liability

TimeKnot is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages — including lost data, lost revenue, or business interruption — arising from your use of the service.

Termination

You can delete your account at any time from Settings. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with or without notice.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the date at the top of this page when we do. Continued use of TimeKnot after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Bahrain. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Bahrain.
